Dr. James George is an entrepreneur, visionary leader, and philanthropist from Kerala, India. He founded Careon Medical Disposable Pvt. Ltd. in 1991 in Kalamassery, Ernakulam, during a period when the region’s industrial ecosystem was still developing.

Under his leadership, the company grew to supply hospitals and clinics with high-quality medical and surgical disposable products. Driven by his strong commitment to quality, the organization achieved ISO 9000:2000 certification in 2012, ISO 13485:2016 in 2017, and CE certification in 2019. To expand into global markets, he established Careon Healthcare Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in 2017, broadening the company’s presence across India, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.

Dr. George is known for his passion for technology and his dedication to adopting global best-practice manufacturing standards. His focus on safety and product excellence supports clinicians worldwide in reducing infections and minimizing antibiotic use in healthcare environments.

Mrs. Elsy James is one of the founding directors of Careon and currently leads the organization’s Human Resources, Finance, and Operations functions.

She has been a strong advocate of women-empowered growth and has played a pivotal role in increasing women’s representation to over 70% across manufacturing and support departments. Over the past three decades, her efforts have enabled sustainable livelihoods for more than 3,000 families. Her nurturing leadership has fostered a culture of unity, trust, and collaboration, inspiring employees to work together as one family.

Mrs. Elsy James has consistently ensured a healthy, supportive, and inclusive work environment that encourages employee engagement and well-being. She has also strengthened the organization through her commitment to financial discipline and by cultivating long-standing relationships grounded in respect with vendors, suppliers, and customers.

Mr. Kora James leads Careon’s Sales and Marketing division, carrying forward three decades of the company’s legacy of excellence. He holds a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA in Business Management from Waikato University, New Zealand.

A true technocrat, he is focused on elevating Careon’s global competitiveness in the medical devices industry, driven by a strong Make-in-India vision. He spearheads sales excellence, strategic marketing initiatives, product development, and the Careon Clinical Academy—an initiative designed to enhance clinical competency and confidence among healthcare professionals.

He is committed to delivering uncompromised quality across all products and services, meeting the expectations of global customers through continuous innovation in medical device manufacturing. As an agile and forward-thinking leader, he remains deeply passionate about emerging technologies and their role in advancing healthcare.

Careon is privileged to have Mr. Gert L. M. Eussen as its long-standing mentor. A seasoned global professional, he previously served as the General Manager of a leading medical distribution company in the Netherlands. He later established a turnkey hospital construction and installation firm, bringing together engineering excellence and deep healthcare insight.

His experience as Managing Director of a biotech venture specializing in bioactive bone-growth materials further strengthened his expertise in advanced medical technologies. This background laid the foundation for his subsequent venture—developing next-generation, narrow-spectrum antibiotics targeting MRSA and other resistant pathogens.

Mr. Eussen has been associated with Careon for many years, continuously contributing to the organization’s growth and global vision. Through his regular visits and hands-on mentorship, he supports Careon in maintaining world-class standards, strengthening operational excellence, and shaping the company’s journey toward international markets. His dedication to sharing knowledge and guiding strategic development makes him an invaluable pillar of Careon’s leadership ecosystem.

With over 35 years of accomplished leadership across Pharmaceuticals, Medical Technology, Biosurgery, and Medical Textiles, Dr. T.P. Aneesh is widely recognized for driving growth, operational excellence, and transformative strategies in the healthcare sector. His career reflects a deep commitment to advancing clinical value, product innovation, and people development.

Dr. Aneesh is known for excellence in healthcare marketing, strategic leadership, and high-impact training. A recipient of multiple national and international awards, he has consistently demonstrated an ability to build strong teams and deliver measurable results. He has served as a key contributor at leading organizations such as BD India, Bard India, Nipro India, Elder Pharmaceuticals, and Centaur Pharmaceuticals.

A visionary in healthcare business leadership, he also brings extensive expertise as a NABH and JCI Consultant, guiding healthcare institutions towards higher standards of quality and accreditation. His strategic insights and industry-wide reputation continue to strengthen Careon’s market presence and long-term growth trajectory.

Madhu P.S. serves as the Chief Financial Officer, leading Careon’s financial strategy and ensuring sustainable growth and long-term value creation. With over 25 years of experience across major manufacturing organizations in India and abroad, he brings deep expertise in financial planning, compliance, and operational efficiency.

He specializes in developing and executing long-range financial strategies, managing risks, optimizing capital structure, and aligning financial decisions with organizational goals. His strong analytical approach and cross-functional insights have supported improved performance across departments and strengthened overall business governance. Before joining Careon, he served as the Financial Controller at Heartland Foundation Group, where he played a key role in stabilizing operations and guiding financial transformation.

Throughout his career, Madhu has helped streamline operational costs, improve margins, strengthen liquidity, and support leadership with clear financial direction. His commitment to financial discipline and continuous improvement continues to drive Careon’s growth and long-term financial health.

Pradeep K Nair is a distinguished expert with over 42 years of experience in supply chain management. Specializing in materials management and strategic planning, he has built a reputation for operational excellence within the manufacturing sector. His deep industry knowledge and commitment to optimizing logistics networks are key to ensuring Careon’s organizational efficiency and long-term growth.

In recent leadership roles, Mr. Pradeep served as Deputy General Manager of Materials at Dynamic Techno Medicals and General Manager of Planning at Orchid Embroideries. These positions followed an eight-year tenure as Materials Manager at KITEX Garments, where he streamlined procurement and resource allocation. His ability to lead diverse teams and navigate complex regulatory environments has consistently driven success across the supply chain.

Mr. Pradeep’s expertise is grounded in significant assignments with industry leaders, including 10 years at Jay Jay Mills and 15 years at Raymonds (Bombay). This background provides a comprehensive understanding of the manufacturing lifecycle, from sourcing to production. At Careon, he leverages this experience to enhance supply chain reliability and the delivery of world-class healthcare solutions.

Mijith Sajin brings over 11 years of experience in operations management, ensuring smooth, efficient, and reliable day-to-day functioning across the organization. His role focuses on driving productivity, maintaining quality, and supporting operational excellence through structured planning and execution.

He oversees cross-departmental coordination, supervises teams, monitors performance metrics, and ensures compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards. His ability to streamline workflows, optimize resources, and resolve operational bottlenecks has contributed significantly to enhanced efficiency and improved output.

As a key link between senior management and frontline teams, Mijith fosters clear communication, supports continuous improvement, and implements strategies that strengthen overall organizational performance. His leadership ensures consistent results and a well-aligned operational environment.

Renji brings over 40 years of extensive experience in textile production management, backed by a Diploma in Textile Technology. His career reflects deep technical expertise and hands-on leadership across multiple large-scale manufacturing environments in India.

He began his professional journey as a Weaving Manager in a reputed textile company in Tamil Nadu, where he built a strong foundation in plant operations, production planning, and quality control. Over the decades, he has contributed to the growth and modernization of several textile facilities, consistently driving improvements in productivity and process efficiency.

Prior to joining Careon, Renji served as the General Manager – Production at a leading textile manufacturer, where he oversaw end-to-end production functions and large operational teams. His proven experience and commitment to operational excellence play a vital role in strengthening Careon’s manufacturing performance and output quality.

Lakshmi is a dedicated HR professional with over seven years of experience in talent management, employee engagement, and organizational development. Holding a Master’s degree in HR & Marketing, she brings a strong foundation in people-centric strategies that strengthen workplace culture and operational efficiency.

She began her career at Careon as an HR Executive, where she quickly demonstrated the ability to streamline processes and build meaningful employee relationships. Seeking global exposure, she moved to the UAE and expanded her expertise through impactful roles with respected organisations such as Toll Global Forwarding and Emirates NBD Bank. Her international experience allowed her to develop a broader understanding of HR systems, multicultural team management, and modern workforce practices.

Returning to India in 2023, Lakshmi rejoined Careon as HR Manager, where she now applies her international insights to enhance talent retention, elevate employee experiences, and support Careon’s people-first culture. Her commitment to continuous improvement, combined with her strong interpersonal skills, makes her a driving force behind Careon’s growing and engaged workforce.

Deepu Biju heads the Supply Chain & Logistics function at Careon, overseeing end-to-end operations that ensure timely delivery, efficiency, and reliability across domestic and international markets.

He is a dynamic and results-oriented professional with over 10 years of experience in operations and customer service, primarily in the UAE. His background includes optimizing supply chain processes, managing cross-functional teams, and implementing strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Known for his ability to build strong stakeholder relationships, Deepu consistently identifies opportunities for process improvement and service excellence. His structured approach and operational insight play a key role in supporting Careon’s growth and commitment to dependable healthcare supply solutions.

V.R. Remesh leads Business Development, Sales, and Marketing for Careon’s international markets. He holds an MBA in Marketing along with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, providing a strong academic foundation for his commercial leadership role.

With over 20 years of diverse experience, he has built a successful career across marketing, international sales, exports, administration, and business development. His professional journey spans key global markets including India, the Middle East, and Africa, giving him deep insight into cross-border trade and market dynamics.

Known for his strategic mindset and growth-oriented approach, Mr. Remesh excels in market expansion, partnership development, and key account management. His expertise in B2B and P2P business models, combined with strong execution capabilities, has consistently contributed to sustainable growth and improved profitability in competitive international markets.

Ms. Harsha leads Research & Development, Design, and Innovation at Careon, playing a pivotal role in shaping the company’s product portfolio and future-ready solutions. With a strong engineering foundation and a keen understanding of healthcare needs, she ensures that innovation remains at the core of Careon’s manufacturing excellence.

She holds a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and brings over 10 years of experience as a Product Design Engineer. Her expertise spans product conceptualization, design optimization, material selection, and validation, enabling Careon to develop reliable and compliant medical textile and surgical solutions.

At Careon, Ms. Harsha is instrumental in translating customer requirements and clinical best practices into practical, high-performance products. By working closely with cross-functional teams, she drives continuous improvement, supports customization initiatives, and strengthens Careon’s ability to deliver innovative, safe, and efficient solutions for global healthcare markets.

Ms. Anjana, an MSc Chemistry graduate, heads the Quality Assurance function at Careon, ensuring that all products consistently meet stringent regulatory and quality standards. With over six years of experience in quality systems and compliance, she plays a critical role in safeguarding patient safety and driving a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.

She is a certified ISO 13485:2016 Internal Auditor and oversees the implementation and maintenance of key regulatory frameworks including ISO 13485, CE MDR, and CDSCO requirements. Her expertise spans quality management systems (QMS), GMP and GLP compliance, CAPA processes, risk management, validation, calibration, hygiene programs, and cleaning verification protocols.

In addition, Mrs. Anjana manages QA/QC operations, laboratory testing, equipment handling, and technical documentation, while supporting internal and external audits. She actively coordinates supplier and customer communications, complaint management, and team training initiatives, ensuring operational discipline, regulatory readiness, and sustained quality excellence at Careon.
